Pattern includes instructions for two sizes (Play Mat 42" x 42" round and Throw 66" x 66" round), two different background options (solid or pieced) and optional applique spider.
OVERVIEW
According to myth, Arachne was a mortal who was very talented at weaving. After besting the goddess Athena in a weaving competition, Athena turned her into the first spider. Poor woman should have taken up quilting instead!
Arachne is a sister quilt to my Pluviophile pattern. Like Pluviophile the curves here are barely curvy. The templates make for simple cutting and the whole thing sews up faster than you can say "No wait Athena, I'll let you win!"
